ABOUT
What is B2B Camp?
B2B Camp is a user organized gathering focused on B2B Sales and Marketing topics. B2B Camp is one of many “unconferences” held throughout the world. Although similar to traditional industry conferences, at B2B Camp there are no “attendees” because everyone participates in some manner. Some participants will present while others will lead a roundtable discussion. Some will contribute simply by sharing their experiences and others by helping with logistics, securing sponsorships, setting up Wi-Fi, etc. B2B Camp is a self-organizing collaborative event that is rewarding, fun and a totally cool experience!

What do I need to bring to B2B Camp?
All you really need to do is “keep the space between your ears open”. But, there is always great posts about getting the most out of this type of event and what to bring on our blog.
Where can I find a list of presentations?
Presenters prepare in advance, but all presentations are selected by the participants at the beginning of B2B Camp. Each candidate presentation title is listed on the wall. Each presenter gives a 30-second “pitch” and then participants vote for the presentations they want. B2B Camp is an ad-hoc experience. By selecting presentations on-the-fly, the topics are guaranteed to be the most meaningful to participants.
What are the ground rules at B2B Camp?
B2B Camp Rule – B2B Camp is open to anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn. So no spectators…only participants
Because B2B Camp is an ad-hoc “un-conference” born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment.
B2B Camp Rule – Sharing required.
B2B Camp is a high-energy event with discussions, demos, and interaction from all participants. So, when you come, be prepared to share with other “campers” (participants)! And when you leave, be prepared to share it with the world. Participants must contribute in some way. You can present, do a demo, hold a discussion, or help with a session. Everyone contributes in some way to support the event.
B2B Camp Rule – Participation is required!
If you want to present, all you need to do is
- Write your topic and your name in a presentation slot on the voting wall at the start of a B2B Camp.
- Give a 30-second pitch about your topic.
The number of presentations is limited to the time and space allowed within the meeting facility. There are no pre-scheduled presentations. That is, everyone has an equal presenting opportunity. Even first-time “campers” present. But, if you don’t present, at least ask a question.
B2B Camp Rule – Blatant promotion of specific commercial products are discouraged.
If you are passionate about a specific commercial product or service, hold a DemoCamp session/slot for folks to demonstrate specific commercial products etc. rather than take up whole slots with company pitches. And yes, B2B Camp sponsors respect this rule, too.
B2B Camp Rule – We all help get the word out about B2B Camp.
Because B2B Camp is a collaborative event, we all need to help with communications. So, at a minimum, talk to your peers about B2B Camp. If you blog, do a post about B2B Camp. Make sure you share B2B Camp with your professional contacts …

B2B Camp Rule – Just because you have a schedule conflict, doesn’t mean you lose out.
Presenters are responsible for making sure that notes/slides/audio/video of their presentations are published on the web for the benefit of all and those who can’t be present.
